2nd Monday of every month  McHenry Senior Citizen Club meetings are at McHenry Township Hall, 3703 N. Tuesdays

Senior bowling, $5 for 3 games. Drop in and bowl 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. McHenry Recreation Center & Bowling. . 

Hand & Foot Canasta  at  9 a.m. at McHenry Township Senior Center.  Volunteer Carol Bredfeldt, will help first-timers.  Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned player, everyone is welcome. There is no charge.

Mah Jong is played at 10:00 a.m. at McHenry Township Senior CenterVolunteer Roberta Mayer teaches beginners how to play There is a fee of $6.50 for the Official Hands & Rules Book along with a 2007 membership card for the U.S. National Maj Jongg League. Join the fun!

Senior bowling, $5 for 3 games Drop in & bowl from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. at McHenry Recreation Center/Bowling.

The Pinochle Club, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. There is no charge to participate; just come to McHenry Township Senior Center and play cards!  Join the fun!  

Bridge, 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. There is no charge to play.  The players meet at McHenry Township Senior Center.

Senior BINGO, 12:30 p.m. 50˘ McHenry Township Senior Center.

One-on-one computer classes, from 1-4 p.m. you can schedule a 45-minute session at the office of Senior Services Associates, Inc. with a computer instructor. For information & reservations call 815.344.3555.

1st Wednesday of every month Blood pressures are taken at McHenry Township Senior Center at no charge, at 10:30 a.m., courtesy of Alden Terrace of McHenry. 

1st Wednesday of the every month XYZ (Xtra Years of Zest) Group has its Potluck Luncheon and an afternoon of Senior Activity.  The group meets at 12 noon at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church on Green Street in McHenry.  For more information call 815.385.4030.

The Crafters Club meets from 9:00  to 11:00 a.m. at McHenry Township Senior Center.  Bring your own project to work on; members enjoy coffee and conversation while crocheting, needle pointing or knitting.  Participation is free.  If you need more information, call 815.344.3555.

2nd Thursday of every month Johnsburg Library's Book Club for adults meets at 1p.m. Books selected for the book club have all been made into a movie. The movie will be shown first, follow by a discussion. Participate only during the months that you are able to or want to attend. Books for each month's discussion can be picked up at the front desk.
