McHenry Township Park is a family recreation area with children's playgrounds and picnic areas with covered shelters that offers a wide variety of outdoor activities. 

The park is ideal for large and small events such as family reunions, weddings and company outings. For your convenience, there are restrooms and ample parking to accommodate all visitors.

4- lighted baseball/softball fields with skinned infields, backstops, foul-line and home run fences

3- striped NCAA size approved soccer fields

1- 100 yard football field with bleachers

2- tournament certified bocce ball courts

2- sand recreational volleyball courts

There are 7 open-air cedar picnic shelters with picnic tables and nearby drinking water. Three shelters have electricity, along with nearby restroom with flush toilets

Cedar shelter #8 (with removable wall panels) is available year-round with tables,   a grill and electricity.  This shelter is located near the sledding hill and snowmobile trail and has a wood burning fireplace and indoor restrooms. 

For your winter recreational pleasure the Sledding Hill will be lit for evening use between the hours of 5:30 and 10:00 p.m., weather and conditions permitting.     No snow boarding allowed in park.
