Recreation Center
Our
recreation center, located at 3519 North Richmond Road (west at
the intersection of Route 31 and Johnsburg Road), is home to: the
McHenry Area Youth Commission; the McHenry Township Senior Center;
Salvation Army Golden Diners Deli and Senior Nutrition Program;
and offices for Senior Services Associates of McHenry
County. 
There are two separate sides to the
Recreation Center (Youth Side and Senior Side) that are suitable
for a wide variety of purposes. It is the meeting place for many
community organizations such as local scout troops, the Johnsburg
VFW and the McHenry County Table Tennis Club.
 The Center is obtainable for meetings of township
not-for-profit groups at no charge during the week. Alcohol is not
allowed under any circumstances in this facility.
