For picnic enthusiasts there are
eight cedar shelters in Albert A. Adams Park. Shelters
are close to running water, restrooms and parking. They also include picnic
tables and a grill. Some units have electricity.
A park permit is required to
reserve a shelter for any group of 20 or more people. Get your
application early as shelters are in great demand throughout the
summer. Township residents or non-profit organizations can reserve
picnic sites beginning the first week in January. Reservations can
only be made in person. In order to guarantee your reservation,
deposit fees must be paid for shelter reservations.
Picnic hours are from dawn to dusk
daily.
